PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2019 | CONFIRA A LISTA DE VENCEDORES
No último domingo, 10, aconteceu a premiação do People’s Choice Awards 2019, promovida pela E!, tendo esta edição sido realizada em Santa Monica, na Califórnia. A premiação é realizada por meio de votação, colocando as pessoas para escolher os melhores do ano em categorias diversas, desde as estrelas do cinema até pets famosos na internet.
Este ano Jennifer Aniston, Pink e Gwen Stefani receberam prêmios de honra durante o People’s Choice Awards 2019. Aninston foi agraciada com um dos prêmios mais importantes da noite, o “People’s Icon Award” e recebeu a honraria das mãos do ator Adam Sandler, que fez um discurso pessoal sobre a atriz que se tornou uma grande amiga ao passar dos anos, de acordo com o mesmo. Em seu discurso de agradecimento, Jennifer fez o que sempre soube fazer de melhor, as pessoas sorrirem com seu bom humor, mas também soube falar sério e reconhecer que todo o seu sucesso é originário de Friends. “Se eu posso ser chamada de ‘ícone’ é porque eu participei de uma série icônica… Friends foi um presente para a vida toda”, disse a atriz.
Já a cantora Pink, foi homenageada com o “People’s Champion Award” em reconhecimento ao seu trabalho filantrópico e seu ativismo durante a carreira. A cantora agradeceu as pessoas e fez um discurso emocionante. “Eu não me importo com a sua política, eu me importo com as suas crianças. Eu me preocupo com decência, humanidade e bondade. Parem de brigar uns com os outros e ajudem uns aos outros.”.
Já Stefani recebeu o prêmio de “Fashion Icon Award” e fez um relato íntimo sobre sua paixão pela moda, contando que seu apreço por este universo foi herdado pelas mulheres de sua família, como a mãe e a avó materna. “Eu sempre amei a moda, sempre foi uma daquelas coisas instintivas pra mim”.
Dentre as celebridades que entregaram os prêmios do People’s Choice Awards 2019, estiveram: Brittany Snow, Jacob Tremblay, Asante Blackk, Jenna Dewan, Joey King, Kelly Rowland, Karamo Brown, Lucy Hale, Sean Hayes, Sarah Hyland, KJ Apa, D’Arcy Carden, Rob Riggle, David Spade, Terry Crews e demais.
Entre as entregas dos prêmios, assistimos as apresentações musicais de Alessia Cara, que apresentou o ritmo “Rooting For You” e Kelsea Ballerini que performou a inédita “Club”.
