EMMY AWARDS 2019 | VEJA A LISTA COMPLETA DE VENCEDORES
O Emmy Awards 2019 revelou grandes surpresas na noite do último domingo, 22. A premiação aconteceu no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles e premiou os melhores da TV. Fleabag e Chernobyl foram as séries de destaque da noite.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge foi consagrada durante a noite, não por menos, após ter escrito a série e atuado na mesma, Bridge foi premiada por Melhor Série de Comédia, Melhor Roteiro em Série de Comédia, Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia e Melhor Direção em Série de Comédia.
Chernobyl que bateu de frente com Olhos que Condenam acabou levando a maior na disputa por Melhor Direção em Minissérie ou Telefilme, Melhor Roteiro em Minissérie ou Telefilme e Melhor Minissérie. “Espero que de alguma forma, mesmo que de forma pequena, a nossa série tenha contribuído para lembrar as pessoas do valor da verdade e dos perigos das mentiras”, disse Craig Mazin.
A produção de Ava Duvernay que recebeu muitas indicações ao Emmy Awards 2019 não conseguiu o destaque merecido, mas não foi esquecida. Jharrel Jerome foi ovacionado após vencer a categoria de Melhor Ator em Minissérie ou Telefilme. O ator agradeceu a mãe, a Netflix e Ava DuVernay, mas dedicou o prêmio aos cinco inocentados, Raymon, Yusef, Antron, Kevin e Korey – a minissérie se baseia na história real dos homens que há muitos anos foram acusados injustamente por um crime que não haviam cometido.
Os discursos também marcaram a noite do Emmy Awards 2019
Os discursos das premiações sempre são recheados de momentos emocionantes e nesta edição Michelle Williams e Patricia Arquette deram um show. Williams agradeceu o apoio dos produtores e pelo pagamento igualitário recebido por Fosse/Verdon. A atriz ainda fez questão de ponderar a desigualdade com as mulheres negras que é ainda maior na indústria.
Patricia Arquette recebeu o prêmio por Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em Minissérie ou Telefilme pela sua atuação em ‘The Act’ e fez um discurso comovente envolvendo a visibilidade das pessoas trans. Arquette se emocionou ao mencionar que perdeu a irmã e chora todos os dias pela ausência dela, além de ter ressaltado que é preciso mudar o mundo para que as pessoas trans não sejam perseguidas. “Deem trabalho para essas pessoas, elas são seres humanos. Chega de preconceito!”.
Apesar do grande número de indicações, Game Of Thrones não ganhou o reconhecimento que esperava ter, mas levou o maior prêmio da noite, de Melhor Série de Drama e Peter Dinklage levou como Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Série de Drama.
A cantora Halsey interpretou a música “Time After Time” de Cindy Lauper durante o momento ‘In Memorian’ e emocionou o público do Emmy Awards 2019.
